How many times have you entered a search in Google, only to find the first few results are several years old and you want the latest news.
By going into Advanced Search, you can narrow the results to a specific time period. Unfortunately, Google only lets you choose the time periods they've defined for you, but it can be helpful to narrow a list of search results to something more relevant.
Follow these steps:
- Enter your query.
- Click the Advanced Search link below the query entry box. The Advanced Search page opens.
- Click Date, Usage Rights, Numeric Range and More.
- Click the Date drop-down and make a selection.
- Click the Advanced Search button, and you should get results that only have date within the chosen time period.
