A modes proposal: Putting consumers in charge of their online data

IStock_000017106542XSmallWhat if we agreed to share our data with certain marketers in exchange for absolute control over the data. For marketers it would mean only showing a car ad to someone who actually was interested in buying a car, preferably theirs, and for consumers it would mean some semblance of control by  getting to pick and choose who sees our data.
