Ten Content Management Predictions for 2009 - FierceContentManagement.

Predictions3 None of us can see into the future, so predictions, while a fun exercise, don't really amount to much. Still, it wouldn't be a new year without some predictions, so why should we be different here at FierceContentManagement. Here's our attempt at predicting the future:

1. Increased interest in cloud computing In a down economy, companies looking for ways to make major purchases like a CMS, while keeping an eye on the bottom line, will take a long look at cloud computing solutions. The beauty of the cloud is that it eliminates the infrastructure costs and greatly simplifies setup and maintenance.
