EContent published its yearly EContent 100 this month, billed as the 100 companies that matter most in the digital content industry.
In the past, I have helped write company descriptions, and continued this practice this year, but as a contributing editor, I also helped choose the nominees for the first time.
For a comprehensive analysis of the EContent 100 (one I wish I had written myself), see John Blossom's write-up on the Shore Communications, Inc. Web site. His company was chosen to be part of the EContent 100 this year, and while he is clearly pleased by the honor, he also eloquently discusses the content industry and how our choices relate to the current state of the content industry as a whole.
The EContent 100 was also mentioned in the PaidContent blog recently. You may have to scroll down the page to see it.
